WMH co-founding partner Jim Walden has been elected to the Board of Governors for the Brooklyn Heights Association (BHA), an esteemed neighborhood association founded in 1910 — the oldest of its kind in New York City.   The Association is committed to “maintaining and improving the quality of life in [Brooklyn Heights],” and is actively engaged in local efforts concerning real estate development and planning, landmarks and preservation, environmental and quality of life, zoning, traffic and transportation, and other critical community service affairs.  Recently, the BHA has ardently opposed the development of two residential towers on Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Walden brings to the Board invaluable legal expertise in many of the areas to which the BHA commits itself, as well as a deeply rooted interest in civic engagement, and hopes to effect positive change in the community he calls home. Walden said: “I am thrilled to be named to the Board of such an historically important Association, which has played a uniquely critical role in maintaining and defending Brooklyn Heights — one of the most enchanting neighborhoods in all the City boroughs — for over a century.” For more information on the BHA or its Board of Governors, please follow the links below: https://thebha.org/ https://thebha.org/meet-the-board/
